Job Summary:
The TRP Field Experience Supervisor will support special education teacher candidates in the Milwaukee Public Schools and UW- Madison Special Education Teacher Residency Program (TRP) in their residency placements. The supervisor will provide coaching, ongoing support, and mentorship for teacher candidates and work collaboratively with the TRP Program Manager and mentor teachers to support teacher candidates for success. The supervisor will exercise problem-solving and independent judgment to provide comprehensive support for teacher candidates in all aspects of their school-based residency experience. This supervisor role provides support to graduate students in the UW-Madison Special Education Teacher Residency Program, a collaborative initiative between UW-Madison and Milwaukee Public Schools.
