Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Health Business Analyst to analyze data, identify areas of opportunity, and provide recommendations to drive business growth and improvement. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare data, strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis and visualization tools, and excellent communication skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze data and use analytical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity.
  • Analyze or assist in the analysis of processes and programs in achieving stated goals.
  • Provide analyses and recommendations if corrections are needed. Investigates and discovers areas of opportunity.
  • Monitor and evaluate patterns, costs, and trends.
  • Produce well-documented and easy-to-follow reports, spreadsheets, documents, and presentations (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Write basic SAS and/or SQL programs for data extraction. Modifies existing programs for data extraction.
  • Proactively seeks training and builds knowledge/experience of tools, languages, and data sources.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years related work experience.
  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience.
  • Healthcare industry experience with a solid understanding of claims, data analysis, enrollment, and provider operations.
  • Experience with analytics and inferential statistics.
  • Experience writing SQL or SAS code or related code.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to design and deliver presentations that demonstrate the value of products and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Experience with web-based reporting tools and analytic software packages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to leverage problem-solving frameworks to develop solutions to client business problems.
  • Experience with medical informatics, service delivery, and finance.

General Physical Demands:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $69,400 - $112,800

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $69,400 - $86,800

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
