Pay is depending on experience. Minimum is $109,880 annually, $4,226.19 bi-weekly

Position Summary

The Director of HOA Property Management Operations & Technology oversees the strategic development and implementation of the bank's HOA property management deposit platform, including operational processes, technology solutions, and treasury management products for small- to mid-sized HOAs. The role supports sales and client onboarding by partnering with relationship managers and ensures smooth, efficient departmental operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily operations of the HOA and Property Management division to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely service delivery.
  2. Drive process improvement, automation, and scalability to support client growth and service excellence.
  3. Ensure operational compliance and risk management in all activities related to HOA and Property Management clients.
  4. Lead liaison and manager of vendor relationships critical for HOA operations, which may include lockbox, integration software providers and payment processors.
  5. Define and monitor key performance indicators, SLA's and operational metrics.
  6. Lead the Bank's HOA technology strategy, aligning platforms and tools with business goals and client expectations.
  7. Collaborate with IT and product teams to deliver client facing digital solutions.
  8. Champion innovation in areas such as real-time payments, digital onboarding, and HOA software integrations.
  9. Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  10. Lead the development and enhancement of HOA-specific treasury products and services, including ACH, Remote Deposit Capture, Service Level Agreements, fraud prevention tools and online platforms.
  11. Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate HOA strategy with broader organizational goals.
  12. Lead HOA banking support teams with clear vision, strategy, and execution aligned to corporate objectives.
  13. Build, mentor, and lead high-performing HOA teams across operations, technology and treasury management functions.
  14. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and client service excellence.
  15. Ensure alignment between the HOA department's strategy with those of general bank operations, technology, treasury management and compliance.
  16. Drive initiative to enhance client experience, operational efficiency, and digital engagement.
  17. Ensure that all decisions are made with an imbedded risk management mindset, resulting in acceptable audit findings, regulatory compliance and policy and procedure adherence.
  18. Complete online, written and in-person compliance training within established timeframes.
  19. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience that fulfill the requirements of the position may be considered.

Experience

  • Eight years of related experience and/or training. Work related experience should consist of HOA Property Management oversight, treasury management, branch management or operations background.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Related military education/experience may be used as a substitute for education or work experience.

Knowledge & Communication Skills

  • Deep understanding of banking systems, payment networks, risk management, and data security protocol.
  • Proven skills to develop strategic plans, budgeting, and the identifying appropriate technology solutions.
  • Advanced math skills; ability to calculate interest and balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to locate routine mathematical errors.
  • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
  • Must understand and have the ability to implement applicable compliance requirements.

Analytical & Decision Making Skills

  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to provide leadership, supervision and training using positive supervisory techniques to ensure maximum productivity; demonstrated ability in organization and delegation skills.
  • Working knowledge of industry specific loan products, services, and CRM software.
  • Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, decision-making, and problem solving capabilities.
  • Client focused mindset with a track record of delivering service excellence.

Computer/Software/Other Equipment Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as PC, printer, fax/copier, and telephone.

Working Conditions

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Work is performed in a professional office environment.
