Summary: The Maintenance Technician Lead supports general maintenance and repair of equipment and building systems.



Role and Responsibilities:



  • Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites
  • Responds to building system maintenance and repair calls.
  • Evaluate building systems, machinery, equipment, components, and parts to ensure proper functioning and safe operation.
  • Assist in preventative maintenance service on systems and equipment
  • Assist with coordination of repairs of systems and equipment by outside service providers
  • Assist other trade groups as required



Qualifications

Essential Skills & Characteristics:



  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
  • Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
  • Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner
  • At times may perform clerical/administrative duties
  • Knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, electrical, and other applicable equipment
  • Perform additional duties as directed by s SOP's and employee handbook.



Educational & Experience Requirements:



  • High School diploma
  • OSHA 30
  • Previous experience working in GLP or GMP environment as a general technician
  • Understanding of basic building systems, boilers, pumps, HVAC equipment, etc.

On-site requirements include: the ability to perform tasks in all aspects of construction sites, including climbing ladders and crawling as needed. The ability to work from aerial lifts is also essential. This job may require the ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs. Additionally, the team member should have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time, bend, reach overhead, and kneel, as necessary. The work environment may include GMP - Aseptic and non-Aseptic Areas, as well as Non-GMP Areas (Office spaces). All physical demands and work environment conditions comply with applicable laws and regulations. Both the employer and employees are expected to adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations, as well as any company-specific policies.
