Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

SUMMARY

This position's primary responsibilities include providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives. Performs HR related duties at the professional level while supporting more than one Division. Will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application; performance and compensation management consultation; and talent management consultation. May carry out additional responsibilities to include organizational design; associate development initiatives and training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  1. Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, and federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  2. Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy
  3. Acts as change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation
  4. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR team members to develop solutions; programs and policies
  5. Provides day to day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation, and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultation.
  6. Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment
  7. Evaluates issues patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs
  8. Partners with Payroll; HRIS; Talent Acquisition; Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for associates.
  9. Partners with Leadership Team to grow the capacity of the organization's top talent to include high potential identification and development programs
  10. Provide, present, and promote the Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers
  11. Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and interpret and draw bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current driver's license.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and general computer and internet skills.

Salary Range: $104,061.00 To $150,888.00 Annually
