What to Expect
The Estimating Quality Assurance Associate is a key member of the team dedicated to maintaining Tesla's high standards for collision estimates. This individual performs detailed reviews of estimates from our internal collision centers, verifying compliance with standards of fairness, accuracy, and documentation to ensure our commitments to insurance partners and customers are met.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct detailed reviews of collision estimates to verify alignment with established standards for fairness and cost-effectiveness
  • Examine estimates to ensure they contain complete and accurate documentation for legal and internal compliance purposes
  • Document review findings clearly and provide constructive, professional feedback to collision center personnel
  • Identify and escalate patterns of non-compliance or recurring issues to the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Uphold the quality standards required to maintain transparency and trust with our insurance partners
  • Support the team in gathering data and insights to contribute to broader process improvement initiatives or system enhancements
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure a consistent and standardized review process across all collision centers

What You'll Bring
  • Significant experience in collision estimating within a high-volume collision center or insurance environment
  • In-depth understanding of collision repair processes, estimating software, and industry compliance standards
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills to accurately assess complex estimates
  • Ability to provide clear, objective, and professional feedback in a constructive manner
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to upholding quality and fairness
  • Proficiency with industry-standard estimating platforms and Microsoft Office Suite

    Expected Compensation
    $28.75 - $48.79/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
