Are you an experienced A&P Mechanic ready to make a difference? STS Technical Services is hiring skilled aircraft mechanics to support helicopter maintenance operations that truly save lives. This role is about precision, purpose, and passion. Every inspection, every repair, and every hour you put in helps keep aircraft mission-ready when it matters most.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily maintenance and inspections to ensure the ongoing airworthiness of aircraft.
  • Notify the Lead Mechanic of unusual findings, schedule changes, or technical issues requiring escalation.
  • Maintain aircraft assigned to your base, oversee parts inventory, and requisition spares as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports, requisitions, and inventories, certifying all work performed meets FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
  • Enter accurate data in RAMCO, including work packages, removals, and installations.
  • Maintain close communication with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and related support teams to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Manage company tools and ensure calibration schedules are met.
  • Perform other related maintenance duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Must pass a pre-placement physical, drug screening, and background check.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varying conditions.

Additional Qualifications for Roving Maintenance Team

  • Sheet metal repair and avionics troubleshooting/repair experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes with short notice.
  • Ability to work night shifts as maintenance schedules dictate.

Schedule & Location

  • 7 & 7 rotation schedule.
  • Candidates must live within one hour or 60 miles of the Monroeville base.
  • Some travel between bases required.
