Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure aircraft remain airworthy and mission-ready.
- Notify the Lead Mechanic of any schedule changes, technical challenges, or unusual maintenance requirements.
- Manage all maintenance activity for assigned aircraft, including stock level reviews and parts requisition.
- Maintain the safety and security of all company assets at your assigned base.
- Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify maintenance work in accordance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in RAMCO, including removals, installations, and work package documentation.
- Collaborate with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other team members to ensure timely job completion.
- Maintain company tools and ensure calibration and accountability.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic.
- Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
- Must pass a pre-placement physical exam (including lifting up to 100 lbs), drug screening, and background check.
Preferred Skills (Roving Maintenance Team)
- Experience with sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting and repair.
- Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes with short notice.
- Flexibility to work night shifts as needed.
Schedule & Location
- 7 & 7 rotation schedule.
- Redding, California.
- Must live within one hour or 60 miles of base (whichever is greater).
- Travel between bases required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $34.54 - $48.63.
- Annual Earnings Potential: $82,620 - $116,323.
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $30,000 (for eligible California candidates).
- Location Bonus: Up to 15%.
