Uses a variety of hand power tools. Makes routine checks on equipment; documents status; completes necessary reports; assists with training. Must be willing to work towards Journeyman's card Qualifications: Skills, Education and Training Required Electrical Safety Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Environmental management system overview Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Fire Extinguisher Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Fork Lift Operator Operate License/Permit/Certification Lock-out/Tag-out Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Machine Guarding Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar MDI/TDI Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Orientation Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Quality Management System Overview Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Respiratory Protection Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Right-to-Know/Hazardous Communication Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Spill Prevention and Cleanup Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar Verified by Reference Check or Job Performance 1. Understanding of basic electricity, welding, cutting torch operation; 2. Basic understanding of pump and air systems 3. Able to work in a team setting. 4. Follows both oral and written directions. 5. Reliable. 6. Able to work any shift and overtime as directed. 7. Follows good safety practices. 8. Mechanically inclined. 9. Must provide own basic tools. 10. Willing to receive training in job related fields as required. 11. Must complete Computer based learning modules 12. Must complete assigned continual skills classes Preferred: 2-year technical degree, basic knowledge of electricity, pumps and air systems. Specific Duties 1. Assist in pump re-packing & repair. 2. Trouble shoot equipment failure. 3. Help train others. 4. Initiate Corrective Action through supervisor if problems found. 5. Basic electrical installation/repair. 6. Other duties as assigned. 7.
