Wargaming Specialist

LMI is currently seeking a Wargaming Specialist to support wargames including wargames that examine commodity management/replenishment, and related table-top exercises for the USTRANSCOM J/4/5/7 Strategic Plans, Policy, Logistics, and War-Fighting Development Directorate at Scott AFB, IL. This is an onsite position and cannot be worked remotely.

The wargaming specialist will support the administration, designing, developing, coordinating, and executing wargames and related table-top exercises at the combatant command level. This includes developing a wargame event and concept plan, defining wargame mission, vision, goals and objectives, design of wargame scenarios, development of wargame mechanics for play, development of tools for resolution of in-game actions, and conducting after action activities including reports and analysis.

Experience and background in Logistics, Distribution, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Strategy, Governance, Project Leadership
• Understanding of wargame design and professional wargaming; wargame certification (desired)
• Senior staff level experience (JS, Service Headquarters, Major Command, Agency, and/or CCMD level experience)
• Masters with 11 years of experience; Bachelors with 13 years of experience
• Understanding of commodity management and replenishment (desired)
• Understanding of USTRANSCOM issues and priorities
• Experience with and understanding of DoD Joint Planning and Operations; or Joint Force Development and Design
• Strong analytic ability, presentation development, and communications skills
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (preferred). Ability to obtain TS/SCI (required)
