We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Sales team as an Executive Meeting Manager.

Here is what you will be doing each day:



    Key Responsibilities:



    • Sales & Business Development:

      • Prospect, solicit, and close new and existing SMERF and local catering accounts to achieve or exceed assigned revenue goals.
      • Conduct site visits, client presentations, and hotel tours showcasing the property's unique features and amenities.
      • Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with hotel standards and brand guidelines.
      • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target key SMERF segments (social celebrations, military reunions, alumni groups, religious retreats, etc.).


    • Event Management & Coordination:

      • Partner with the catering and event operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
      • Serve as the primary contact for assigned groups and events, managing all details from proposal through post-event follow-up.
      • Prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate effectively with internal departments.
      • Ensure events reflect the hotel's personalized service philosophy and brand identity.


    • Client & Community Engagement:

      • Cultivate relationships within the local community, associations, and organizations to grow SMERF business.
      • Attend networking events, trade shows, and client functions to promote the hotel.
      • Maintain active communication with past clients for repeat business opportunities.


    • Reporting & Administration:

      • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CITY
      • Forecast group and catering revenue and assist with the annual sales plan and budget process.
      • Monitor market trends and competitive set activity to identify new opportunities.




    Qualifications:



    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 1-2 years of hotel sales or catering experience, preferably within the boutique or lifestyle segment.
    • Strong negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
    • Proficient in CITY and hotel systems preferred
    • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering personalized, memorable guest experiences.


    Salary Range: $70,000 to $75,000.
