Your Responsibilities as a Managing Engineer:

Refine and implement the firm's strategic and business growth plans for the Colorado Springs office
Oversee day-to-day operations to achieve corporate objectives and ensure profitability
Support regional business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities through networking, proposal development, and client presentations
Strengthen and expand client relationships by delivering high-quality, value-driven technical and business solutions
Lead a team through all phases of project execution, including planning, design, permitting, and specifications
Coach and mentor junior staff in technical skills, client communications, and project delivery best practices
Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Colorado (or ability to obtain within three months)
20 years of civil engineering experience
Experience in the planning, design, and construction oversight of water and wastewater infrastructure
Proficient in project administration and contract management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple long-term client relationships
Track record of business development, marketing, and implementation of best business practices
Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills

Annual Expected Pay Range

$130,000 — $170,000 USD
