Summary: Responsible for cutting out square and round tile with a press then boxing and labeling finished goods by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Will need to read and understand a schedule while using a computer interface to record production
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing material for quality defects and measuring to correct specifications
  • Load and unload 15-pound tile into press that comes down to cut the tile
  • Box, label, stack boxes onto pallet and enter production into SAP
  • Operator must rotate positions with the Waterjet Operator, Tile Punch Press Operator, and Refining Mill
  • Overtime is/may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

General Tasks required of all associates

? Operator must understand and follow 5S and good housekeeping in their respective areas

? Must adhere to all safety policies within Mannington, The Rubber Plant and specific to job being preformed

? Operators will Clean their equipment throughout the shift and at shutdowns

Language Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability
