Pay Rate: $20.50

Status: Full Time/ 40Hours

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Route pick-up orders coming into the center, distributing them to the proper Production Assistant each day.

1. Keep accurate records of location of all trucks and vehicles each day and the calls that are completed each day.

1. Keep track of and file all pick-up tickets, advising the supervisor of any problems which may arise (i.e. back calls, etc.).

1. Operate two- way radio equipment according to center policy and FCC regulations.

1. Assist phone receptionist when needed.

1. Route same-day special donations.

1. Maintain open communication with immediate supervisor at all times, informing supervisor of any problems with vehicles, accidents, etc.

1. Supervise assistant dispatcher.

1. Assign vehicles and coordinate all routes.

1. Conduct Production Assistant meetings when necessary.

1. Wear back guard provided when doing any substantial lifting or moving.

1. Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army

OTHER DUTIES: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or administrator.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises assistant dispatcher in accordance with The Salvation Army policies and applicable laws.
