Description
Precision Assembler Penn United Technologies, Inc. is hiring immediately for a full-time Precision Assembler to join our Production team. This is an excellent ENTRY LEVEL position that requires the ability to work daylight, afternoon, and midnight rotating shifts. In this role, you would work as part of a team that is responsible for the assembly, cleaning, quality inspection and packaging of various precision manufactured components. About Us:

- Assemble small components by hand as well as operating assembly machines
- Operate ink imprinting machine, load parts into and operate oven
- Operate riveting machines (manual and automated) and various parts cleaning equipment
- Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Package and prepare components for shipment
- Prepare time and production records correctly on a daily basis
- Meet production goals
- Maintain clean-room environment
- Set up and operate parts cleaning equipment and work with the chemicals involved in parts cleaning
- Work according to work instructions and appropriate SOP's
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have excellent visual acuity to see small components
- Must have excellent finger & hand dexterity to manipulate and assemble small components by hand
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift
- Must be flexible to work rotating daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts
- Must be comfortable wearing clean room attire
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels
- Service attitude, commitment to safety and quality
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Prior assembly experience preferred, but not required
