Requisition Number:R156180 RN I - Admission/Discharge - Flex (Open) How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:As a part of the healthcare team, the RN I-Admission/Discharge assumes primary accountability for nursing coordination and provision of individualized for patients of all ages. Utilizes delegation and critical thinking skills to provide quality service through a team oriented, collaborated approach to patient care. Assists in facilitation of the admission, transfer, and discharge processes. Interacts with patients, families, visitors and all members of the health care team to initiate plan of care. Must be able to work independently. Demonstrates leadership abilities along with mature judgment, initiative and proficiency in nursing skills. Must demonstrate positive leadership role-modeling, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills. Assess data reflective of the patients' status. Interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs and provides care according to department policies and procedures What We Require: Education: Graduate of school of professional nursing of an accredited college. BSN preferred. Experience: I year acute care experience required. Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required.
