Responsibilities Job Summary This position contributes to supporting cost containment and operational efficiency, leading supply management initiatives, and bringing innovation to HonorHealth. This includes developing and participating in short-term tactics and long range plans that result in optimal use of supplies, services, inventory and performance. Takes an active institutional and facility-based leadership role with physician and executive leadership. Develops supply chain management strategies and in addressing daily supply chain operations, including process reengineering, utilizations management, supply chain systems coordination, customer service, receiving, inventory management, asset management, and distribution. Participates in industry engagement to design, implement, and advocate supply chain best practices in conjunction with procure to pay, logistics, inventory management, informatics, and category management functions. Leads institutional supply chain process improvement programs to reduce defects and eliminate waste. Leverages LEAN Six Sigma and project management methodologies. Produces appropriate project charters, plans, and accomplishments reports. Essential Functions
