Position Highlights

The Adjunct Lecturer will teach AME 321 - Aircraft Performance course for the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering department. The course covers properties of the atmosphere; concepts in airflow and propulsion, airfoils and wings; airplane performance; and energy methods.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver lectures.
  • Develop, grade, and provide feedback on formative and summative assessments.
  • Provide student support via email and in-person, i.e. during office hours.
  • Additional tasks as needed for effective course delivery and assessment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of all topics covered in introductory aerospace engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or mentoring undergraduate-level engineering students.
