What You'll Do

As a Desktop Support I professional, you'll be the first line of help for our colleagues-installing and supporting workstations and peripherals, troubleshooting issues, and training users so they can do their best work.



  • Configure, install, update, and maintain local area network software/hardware under direction of the Director of IT.
  • Respond promptly to user requests; troubleshoot desktop hardware/software and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Provide user training on software applications and remote network access; create simple job aids when helpful.
  • Organize and maintain information related to network assets, workstations, and tickets; perform backup data retrieval as needed.
  • Support software such as Microsoft Office, Windows Server/Windows Professional, security tools, and other firmstandard programs.
  • Support hardware including laptops/desktops, video conferencing systems, mobile devices, plotters, and unified messaging.
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot company tablets and cell phones; assist with MDM enrollments and policy compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support reliable IT operations and a positive enduser experience.



Who We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED equivalent with 3 years of IT Helpdesk Support experience OR Associates degree with 1 year of IT Helpdesk Support experience
  • A+ / NET + Certification preferred


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and modern web browsers.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating system installation, device drivers, and stable system configuration; general understanding of IP networking.
  • Experience supporting computers and peripherals (laptops/desktops, printers/plotters, mobile devices, video conferencing equipment).
  • Clear written communication and speech clarity; strong customer focus and interpersonal collaboration.
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot errors (including blue screens), document fixes, and manage tickets to closure.
  • Detail orientation, sound judgment/decisionmaking, and the ability to orchestrate multiple activities at once.
