About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder II for 3rd shift to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will perform core welding work, ensure precision welding of aerospace components, and adhere to strict quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Location: Stuart, Florida - onsite role 3rd shift Monday to Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate TIG, MIG, and other welding equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain and care for welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
  • Identify and troubleshoot welding defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to optimize welding processes and production flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and adhere to production documentation requirements.
  • Perform precision welding on thin stainless-steel parts ranging from 0.020" to 0.125" in thickness.
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to produce components that meet exact specifications.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and appearance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintain and care for welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
  • Check welds visually and dimensionally with precision measuring instruments for conformance to blueprints and specifications
  • Responsible for the manufacture and maintenance of component parts and fixtures as required
  • Inspect completed work with a variety of measuring equipment such as height gages, micrometers, verniers, dial indicators and CNC coordinate inspection machine.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding, weld visual inspection, and/or NDT preferred.
  • 1 year of TIG welding experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years GTAW specific work experience.
  • Sheet metal manufacturing experience.
  • Aerospace specific work experience.
  • Welding school or other applicable schooling

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and have the ability to hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or crouch.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • Must be able to pass an eye exam on an annual basis.
