Position Highlights

The Lee Lab in the Department of Pharmacology (College of Medicine) at the University of Arizona invites applications for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer, neurological, and vascular disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong publication record and the ability to work independently on multidisciplinary projects in a collaborative research environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Independently design and conduct biochemical and
    cellular assays.
  • Work with various genetic and xenograft mouse models.
  • Analyze large proteomic datasets.
  • Contribute to manuscript preparation and publication.
  • Present research findings at lab meetings, departmental seminars, and
    conferences.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Cancer Biology,
    Biochemistry, or related fields.
  • No prior postdoctoral experience required.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong publication record from graduate research.
    Extensive experience in cancer, neurobiology, cell biology, and/or vascular biology.
  • Background in cellular metabolism, including mitochondrial dynamics.
  • Hands-on experience with various genetic and xenograft mouse models.
