Position Objective:

The Warehouse / Filter Service Technician is responsible for installing HVAC filters in various types of air handlers and performing inspections of units as well as supporting daily warehouse operations within the air filter branch, including receiving, storing, assembling, and shipping products accurately and efficiently. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and assists in the timely fulfillment of customer orders. The Warehouse / Filter Service Technician plays a key role in delivering operational excellence and supporting customer satisfaction through reliable and organized warehouse practices.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Install HVAC filter in various type of air handlers.
  • Must clean all debris and spent filters off roof tops and dispose properly.
  • Perform visual inspections of each unit during service.
  • Date and initial filter in filter bank.
  • Operating and maintaining equipment and materials for the cut-and-cap process.
  • Assemble products and ensure finished goods meet AAF product standards.
  • Responsible for receiving products at the branch, ensuring accuracy of deliveries, and unloading and loading trucks.
  • Responsible for the proper rotation and maintenance of inventory
  • Assist with product returns, restocking, re-inventorying, and disposing of product.
  • Assist in pulling orders for outgoing shipments/deliveries via FedEx, UPS, and regular freight carriers
  • Stocking inventory
  • Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties.
  • Move inventory around the warehouse and shipping facility.
  • Operation of pallet jacks to safely and efficiently
  • Participates in physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements

Position Requirements:

  1. High school degree, Associates degree a plus;
  2. Must pass and maintain DOT driver qualification to drive service truck(s);
  3. Strong communication and organizational skills;
  4. Proven working experience as a warehouse worker;
  5. Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems;
  6. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods;
  7. Good organizational and time management skills;
  8. Ability to lift heavy objects.
