Your responsibilities
Job Summary The Segment Director (Copper Products & Electrical Manufacturing) leads strategic sales and business development initiatives for fabricated copper buss bars, copper plate products, and the associated plastic/insulation requirements, including plating and epoxy coating services across the United States. This role is accountable for driving nationwide growth and profitability in the Electrical, Power Generation, and Data Center markets by developing and executing segment-specific strategies and identifying new business opportunities. The Segment Director collaborates with regional teams, assists with key account development and management, and ensures alignment with corporate objectives to expand market share and deliver value to customers nationwide. Job Description Establish a unified national sales strategy that drives growth, expands market presence, and positions our copper buss bars, copper plate products, and associated plastic/insulation solutions as the preferred choice across targeted segments. Strategic Foundations
  • Prioritize high-potential segments such as Electrical, Power Generation, Data Centers, and the Energy sector. Use market analytics to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
  • Evaluate current product offerings against customers end products Common in all Commercial, Industrial, Power Generation and Data Processing facilities. Identify gaps and opportunities to expand the portfolio, including insourced and outsourced solutions.
  • Develop visuals and direct marketing materials to clearly communicate our value proposition. Offering customized solutions including JIT Manufacturing, Sub-Contracting, Kitting Programs, Final Assembly, and Adaptive Pricing.
Relationship & Account Management
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with OEMs and key stakeholders nationwide. Implement tailored growth plans for major accounts, leveraging technical expertise and proactive engagement to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Expand market share through direct sales efforts and strategic channel partnerships. Secure new customers and applications by demonstrating our competitive edge and comprehensive solutions.
Execution & Collaboration
  • Foster collaboration across sales, operations, procurement, marketing, R&D, and regional leadership. Ensure seamless execution of initiatives and consistent messaging throughout the organization.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with strategic accounts. Provide technical guidance on product capabilities, applications, and specifications to support customer decision-making.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop and roll out pricing strategies, training materials, and programs for the sales team. Leverage internal expertise (e.g., Cobotixs and ECA ) to document and share best practices.
  • Deliver technical presentations and support to customers, ensuring solutions meet their evolving needs.
Culture & Compliance
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus. Encourage continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving within the team.
  • Stay current on industry standards, certifications, and compliance requirements to ensure our offerings meet or exceed expectations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of sales leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in copper products or electrical components.
  • Extensive sales/business development experience, product knowledge, and expertise.
  • Proven track record in the Electrical, Power Generation, or Data Center markets.
  • Strong technical understanding of copper fabrication, plating, and epoxy coating.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Job Compensation

$146,000/year (based on experience) + Performance Incentive Compensation
