Barnes Aerospace has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) professional interested in managing various L&D initiatives and projects to support our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of key HR processes and have outstanding project management and communication skills to effectively coordinate and execute projects that drive organizational success. As an L&D Project Manager, the successful candidate will help design, implement, and execute specific HR projects to effectively support the Company's talent acquisition, development, and engagement pillars within its Talent Management System (TMS) to support the business in achieving its performance goals and objectives. The qualified candidate must be able to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with members of the global team; able to manage various priorities with key timelines and deliverables. Core Responsibilities:



  • Project Planning and Execution:

    • Develop project plans outlining objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources for HR initiatives.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery of projects.
    • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.


  • HR Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within HR functions such as onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
    • Collaborate with HR team members to design and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience.
    • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to measure the impact of process improvements and make adjustments as necessary.


  • Change Management:

    • Lead change management efforts associated with L&D projects, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training initiatives.
    • Anticipate and address resistance to change by implementing strategies to foster buy-in and support among employees and stakeholders.
    • Monitor the impact of changes on employee morale, productivity, and organizational culture, and adjust strategies accordingly.


  • HR Systems:

    • Manage the implementation of HR systems and technology solutions aimed at improving L&D processes and data management.
    • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to define system requirements, oversee system configuration, and ensure successful deployment.
    • Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate adoption and utilization of new systems.


  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, and Operations, to support the integration of L&D projects with broader organizational initiatives.
    • Foster collaboration and communication across departments to ensure alignment of project objectives and maximize synergy.


  • Performance Measurement and Reporting:

    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of L&D projects and initiatives.
    • Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate project status, outcomes, and impact to senior management and key stakeholders.
    • Use data analysis and insights to identify areas for improvement and drive informed decision-making.





Qualifications:



  • 7 years of experience in Human Resources field; manufacturing environment preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of L&D processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS, LMS, e-learning and authoring tools
  • Strong understanding of project management tools to keep team aligned, informed and on track
  • Experience in training program creation and facilitation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Change management experience, including stakeholder engagement and communication planning.
  • Able to work in fast-paced ambiguous environments, adapt quickly to changing circumstances, processes and priorities.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
