Position: Contract Analyst (Pearland, Texas)

Position Description & Responsibilities

  • Negotiate commercial contract terms and conditions, coordinate technical scopes of work including interface with all disciplines (such as project management,legal, marketing, pricing management, product management, services, finance/accounting, and customer) to support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pricing strategies to perform financial/commercial analysis and potential risks for contracts to achieve revenue goals.
  • Analyze commercial sections of proposals and create pricing evaluations. Prepare contract recommendations, and present recommendations to project team and/or customer.
  • Conduct internal stakeholders' meetings, conduct pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract documents.
  • Perform contract management post-award (governance) activities by evaluating customers' performance under the contract, volume adherence, and contract change management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and affiliates to analyze potential risks on possible contract changes, particularly from a commercial level.
  • Perform closeout of contracts, finalize outstanding contract issues, invoices and coordinate completion of customer performance evaluations.
  • Perform analytical and organizational tasks, negotiation and problem-solving tasks, along with communication to attain continuous improvement.
  • Conduct computing tasks, including Excel and understanding and Salesforce.com.

Qualifications: Minimum of twelve months' experience in contract negotiation or related experience with analysis and reporting functions. Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Automation Engineering or Electronic Engineering.

Travel: May travel up to 15% US and internationally.
