LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES, HR MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIVISION, DAVIDSON COUNTY Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and two years of professional compensation experience. Substitution of experience for education: Experience in Human Resources can substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years. Overview A Senior Compensation Consultant is employed by the Department of Human Resources (DOHR) and provides market research, equity analysis, and job architecture development to assist agencies in compensation planning. This is the senior level classification in the Compensation Consultant series and is responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide compensation projects, leading participation in salary surveys, and providing training to Compensation Consultants. This class differs from that of Compensation Team Lead in that an incumbent of the latter functions at the supervisory level. This class differs from that of a Compensation Consultant in that an incumbent of the latter performs at the working level. Responsibilities
