Position Summary:

Under direct supervision, coordinates all activities and functions of a program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.

Key responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate logistics for Critical Care Crisis Resource Management (CRM) and Difficult Airway conferences workshops and meetings, including room booking, catering, materials setup, attendance tracking and participant communications.
  • Prepare periodic reports on program activities, progress, and status for clinical and administrative leadership.
  • Oversee the International Observership Program, visiting physician rotations, and New England Donor Services (NEDS) personnel including application review, HR and Occupational Health paperwork, orientation coordination, and on-site support.
  • Provide calendar management, appointment scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting minutes for senior physicians.
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for the Critical Care administrative office and coordinates daily operations of programs within the Division. Provides administrative and technical support to physicians and program leadership while facilitating program objectives.
  • Order and maintain supplies for office, program, and service use.
  • Support the Critical Care Administrative team and management with special projects as needed.

Minimum qualifications

Education:
  • Associate's degree required. Bachelor's preferred.
Experience:
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
  • The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
