Job Title: Material Handler / Forklift Driver

SUMMARY

Assists in the production of quality parts by safely transporting parts and materials throughout the production facility. Assists in the proper disposal of waste product.

Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
We offer a 2^nd Shift differential of $2.25

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates industrial forklifts equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, or similar location.
• Manually handles parts and supplies production lines at a fast pace.
• Participates in routing, counting, and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.
• Scan items for inventory.
• Must know and follow all safety rules.

Other misc. duties deemed necessary by supervisor.

Education and/or Experience

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift experience and experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to safely work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide whole numbers) and attention to details
• Able to use RF Scanner
• Knowledge of safety practices

• Skill in both verbal and written communication
