Job Description




As a Security Professional - Patrol Specialist Media in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior, and promptly report any concerns to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as directed.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
  • Follow all company and client site protocols to support a secure and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and contractors.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as specified by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
