  *Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
   
However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions, or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, and will be notified of instructions.

          - Bachelor's degree with a major in planning, architecture, engineering, graphic design, interior design, communications, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience; or an equivalent combination of training and directly-related experience.
 - Advanced knowledge of project management and planning concepts.
 - Advanced knowledge of design and/or graphics software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other pertinent software/systems (Excel, PowerPoint, Google platform, etc.).
 - Advanced skills in verbal, written and interpersonal communications. Experience using Microsoft Suite, Google, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Revit, or other software necessary to perform the functions of project management successfully.
 - Ability to effectively work/interact with persons from different backgrounds, perspectives, and cultures.
 - Ability to foster and create an atmosphere of teamwork.

        | Duties and Responsibilities |  
        
         
           
          - This position will be primarily focused on managing campus signage projects from inception to completion with the ability to determine project priorities, processes, and procedures.
 - Demonstrate the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously.
 - Ability to enact short and long-term plans for signage for incorporation into the Design Standards and Guidelines.
 - Ensures that all signage is code compliant.
 - Demonstrate the ability to prepare complete signage plans and specifications and to make changes as necessary.
 - Prepare cost estimates for project budgets as necessary.
 - Provide project updates and other signage information to supervisors, co-workers and clients through multiple forms of communication.
 - Maintain familiarity with ADA guidelines.
 - Research, design, and manage interior and exterior accessibility, wayfinding and evacuation plans and maps.
 - Coordinate with external vendors for signage production and procurement.
 - Work proactively and independently with limited direction.
 - Communicate concisely and tactfully, and engage in a positive manner with campus stakeholders and clients.
 - Possess the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
 - Develops and maintain specifications and visual communications requirements related to Campus Signage.
 - Exhibit a professional demeanor when receiving constructive feedback.
