OverviewThe Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) organization plays an essential role in translating Microsoft's commercial strategy to local execution plans and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. Our team drives regional plans, insights and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life for our sales and delivery organizations and enabling Microsoft Americas to deliver business impact at scale. The Azure business is a strategic growth lever for the company and a critical component to enable our mission. Our business goals consist of growing consumption of Azure services in both our customer base and acquiring new customers. Our Azure Data and Analytics platform is of critical importance in delivering against these business goals, and we are looking to hire a Senior Director, Azure Data & Analytics for our Americas data business. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving our go-to-market strategies, leading a team, and shaping marketing and business success. You'll act as a thought leader, developing GTM strategies that align with our business goals. Your ability to track success criteria and performance metrics will be crucial in driving impactful outcomes. You will be working with emergent technology requiring you to simplify complex concepts and have a deep expertise across data and analytics technologies and market dynamics. You'll excel at creating alignment across teams, removing roadblocks, and ensuring seamless execution. ResponsibilitiesGTM Planning and Execution: Drives rigor in definition and orchestration of strategic go-to-market (GTM) plans inclusive of marketing, sales, customer success, and partners that support the overall business strategy and execution. Enables collaboration across relevant stakeholders and leverages expertise, business metrics and insights to drive and impact GTM strategy and delivery.Business Management: Tracks the efficacy of plans to drive long-term sustainable growth for the business. Accepts end-to-end accountability for revenue, scorecard metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business. Leads regular cadence of connections with corporate to execute strategic planning and acts as the executive-facing representative from the field.Lead Sales Enablement: Create, land and champion new sales motions, ensuring connected sales and marketing execution to maximize impact. Lead and collaborate with our partner organization for partner-led execution and demand generation. Serves as the primary orchestrator between corporate and the field, and ensures field and corporate leadership are aligned.Product Advocacy: Provide thought leadership across the Americas for our Data and Analytics platform. Leverage insights form the data community, customer, partner, and sellers on competitive landscape, product gaps, trends, etc. to drive improvements on the GTM plan and influence product strategy.Exemplify our Microsoft Values, Culture, Leadership Principles: Create clarity for the team by building a shared understanding and a clear course of action, model our Microsoft culture and values on a daily basis, and generate energy across the organization.
