What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help minimize disruptions within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points and report any irregularities as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, contractors, and visitors to support a secure environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with other security-related personnel and site representatives to address concerns or issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort working in environments with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A current CPR certification is preferred.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
