Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Honeycomb Grill Lead Server DIVISION: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Honeycomb Grill Manager LOCATION: Honeycomb Grill CLASSIFICATION: Part Time/Seasonal/Hourly PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Lead Server is responsible for supervising the setup of the restaurant, running food, bussing tables, assisting other servers and bartenders and creating an all-around great dining experience for guests. The Lead server is to be placed in charge whenever management is unavailable. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be organized Must have excellent customer service Must be able to delegate responsibility Must be a leader Must have great problem solving and basic math skills Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Food Handler's Permit Sips N Tips Certification Ability to multi-task Organizational skills Knowledge of food and beverages Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Take food and beverage orders from guests Be knowledgeable about the Honeycomb Grill menu and be able to make recommendations and answer guests' questions Set up the restaurant for food service, set tables with linens, silverware, and stemware Monitor, evaluate, and audit food and beverage quality and service Help the restaurant manager, kitchen staff, host, and other servers when needed and complete additional tasks as needed (i.e. shoveling patio) Supervise and assist close down and cleaning of the restaurant and prepare it for food service the next day Solve any problems that arise and act as leader to all staff Other duties as assigned Perks of Working Here: Work & Play in the Mountains: Embrace the stunning Wasatch Mountains.
