The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc ("nVent") and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, theElectrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

What you will experience in this position:

As a Warehouse Worker at nVent Management Company, you will have the opportunity to be part of an exceptionally dedicated team. This role will be on-site at our Houston, TX facility located at 6100 Ramona Blvd. Houston TX 77086

You will:

  • Efficiently receive and process incoming shipments to ensure detailed inventory management.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to our valued customers.
  • Maintain meticulous inventory records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Closely adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
  • Successfully execute procedures to uphold our world-class manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
  • Advise supervisors of any shortages or concerns regarding equipment and materials to ensure smooth operations.
You have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of production work experience is preferred.
  • Established expertise in safety guidelines and practices, adept at encouraging conformity.
  • Skill in analytical thinking and problem-solving for effective decision-making.
  • Skill in presenting effectively through both oral and written communications.
