As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials at the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Verify credentials for individuals entering restricted areas and document visitor information as required by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow established protocols for reporting and escalation.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and security-related incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and/or visitors with site-specific information and directions, while adhering to access control procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following all site-specific policies and instructions from Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
