As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming and secure environment for all personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter, monitoring for any unusual activity to help to deter potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Work closely with on-site staff and visitors to support a secure environment through presence and communication.
• Maintain thorough and accurate daily activity logs and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Remain alert while on duty and communicate any concerns or needs for assistance to supervisory staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
