Job Description




As a Security Professional - Financial Dispatch Desk in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic financial institution setting, you will play a vital role in monitoring activity and coordinating security-related responses throughout the location. Your responsibilities include supporting routine patrols, maintaining clear and professional communication, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. By remaining visible and attentive, you will help to deter incidents and contribute to a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Monitor and coordinate communications from a central dispatch position within a financial institution location, relaying information to on-site personnel as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining clear records and logs of communications and/or events.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of security-related systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment.
  • Communicate promptly with on-site staff and law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of calls, incidents, and dispatch activities for accountability and reporting purposes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and exercises related to emergency response, customer service, and security-related technology used at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Candidates who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
