As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Team in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government-related areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your approachable demeanor will support positive interactions with community members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff members while on patrol.
• Assist in maintaining order and adherence to property rules and regulations within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
