Job Description




As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Yuma, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering excellent customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to be on the move throughout the location. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for potential issues.
  • Observe and report any security-related concerns found during patrols or while on duty.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation according to Allied Universal standards.
  • Support site operations by communicating clearly with team members and site management regarding security-related matters.
  • Offer guidance or assistance to visitors, employees, or contractors as needed in accordance with location policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • This position is primarily a driving post, and prior experience in similar roles is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
