As a Security Officer - Access Control Tech Site in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to designated areas in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Assist with visitor and employee check-in, verifying credentials and granting or denying entry as appropriate.
• Provide customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the location, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activities promptly to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Security Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
