What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the retail location to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity.
• Interact with employees, customers, and visitors in a professional manner while upholding Allied Universal's standards for conduct and appearance.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed during critical situations or emergency response activities.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to identify potential security-related risks and provide site-specific guidance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
