Job Description




As a Security Professional - Telecom Patrol Driver in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a welcoming environment for everyone on site. Whether conducting routine patrols or assisting with access control, you will embody our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while always acting with integrity. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other security-related concerns in a technology-focused environment.
  • Document and report any unusual circumstances, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to promote a secure and welcoming environment at the location.
  • Remain alert to changing conditions and adapt responses as necessary to address security-related challenges or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
