A Water Resources Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and managing systems related to water resources and contributes to the continued growth of our regional office in the Asheville NC area. This role includes developing restoration design solutions for stream and wetland projects. The position emphasizes collaboration with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects that meet regulatory standards. This position will operate under the ES Engineering P.C. organization in compliance with State of North Carolina requirements. Work Environment The work environment can be a mix of in-office and remote work depending on candidates' location and as approved by a manager. Some work will be outdoors in all kinds of weather and sometimes in remote and challenging locations. Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office or at home. For any allowable remote work. uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps.
