Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol

As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol in East Longmeadow, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the facility and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Report observations, incidents, and/or unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client representatives.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and directional inquiries while maintaining a presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.
• Follow all site-specific protocols, including those related to entry, exit, and security-related processes for personnel and materials.
• Support Allied Universal and client operations by remaining alert and proactive during patrols and while interacting with individuals on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
