As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, performing routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout the location. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related screening procedures for personnel and packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide excellent customer service while assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel at designated screening checkpoints.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed, including alerting appropriate personnel and following evacuation or lockdown procedures as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items from entering the location by maintaining awareness and attention to detail during screening processes.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal and client representatives.
• Maintain a professional presence and uphold Allied Universal standards while performing screening duties at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
