Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a HEDIS Administrative Assistant!

This position is 100% remote. We will only consider candidates who currently live in the United States.

In addition, you must meet the following criteria:



  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis, C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Maintain a work schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM throughout the assignment
  • Have a wired/ethernet internet connection (Wifi is not permitted for this position)

In this pivotal administrative support role, you will be the backbone of daily operations for a specialized clinical data team. Your meticulous approach and proactive support will ensure seamless communication, efficient data collection, and streamlined workflows. You'll play a crucial part in gathering essential medical information, troubleshooting logistical challenges, and maintaining the integrity of sensitive data, ultimately contributing to better health insights and improved patient care.

**What you'll do:**

* Facilitate essential communication with provider offices.

* Manage the secure transmission of member lists to obtain necessary medical records.

* Accurately document all activities related to medical record acquisition.

* Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to a specialized clinical data team.

* Serve as a primary point of contact, handling incoming calls from clinical data abstractors and providers.

* Efficiently print samples and location pull lists for abstractors.

* Prepare and send requests for medical records to providers.

* Actively troubleshoot logistical issues between providers and abstractors to ensure smooth operations.

* Perform accurate data entry to support project requirements.

* Assist with various aspects of project coordination.

* Provide diverse administrative support for managers and departments, including composing correspondence, compiling and analyzing data, and managing calendars.

* Act as a delegate for managerial workflows and digital systems.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Medical Expertise: Strong knowledge of medical terminology and a solid understanding of clinical quality measures.

* Medical Record Review: Proven experience in reviewing and interpreting medical records.

* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating clarity, conciseness, and appropriateness.

* Technical Proficiency: Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Adobe Reader (if applicable). Ability to effectively save and organize files.

* Organizational Skills: Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.

* Problem-Solving: A conscientious problem solver, eager to learn, and takes personal pride in work performance and accuracy.

* Work Ethic: Professional demeanor and a strong work ethic.

* Adaptability: Flexibility to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.

* Confidentiality: unwavering commitment to keeping all collected information safe, organized, and confidential.

* Physical Requirement: Ability to lift 20 lbs.

* Commitment:** Ability to work Monday - Friday, committing to Full-Time (40 hours a week) unless otherwise arranged.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $17.62 to $19.58 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
