Essential Job Duties
CSC Contracts and Grants department is seeking an accounting professional with working knowledge of college/university finance and accounting systems. This role will complete routine accounting procedures. Duties will include the following:

  • Journal Vouchers
  • Project Modification Requests (PMR) for budget modifications.
  • Subawards
  • No Cost Extensions (NCE) and other related accounting procedures
  • Salary redistributions and close outs
  • Voucher processing
  • Vendor setup for travel reimbursements and Travel authorizations
  • Process Travel reimbursements and Travel authorizations

Work Schedule 32-40 hours per week, flexible schedule

Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience/Education
High School diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Department Required Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of WolfPack Reporting Systems (WRS) and NCSU Financial systems.
  • Working knowledge of college/university finance and accounting systems and routine accounting tasks.
