Summary:

In this role, you will produce and manage monthly and quarterly finance reports to support budget and forecasting initiatives. You will develop complex analyses related to pharmaceutical sales, claims, and product level data forexisting and prospective pharmaceutical manufacturers. You will support the prime vendor program customers by identifying, developing, quantifying, and validating cost reduction opportunities, drug class market opportunity analysis, manufacturer dashboard analytics and other report requirements through project management activities and detailed analysis of aggregated customer line-item purchasing data

Responsibilities:

  • Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide product solutions.
  • Develop charts, graphs, tables, and reports to support findings and generate recommendations, incorporating benchmarking and clinical considerations.
  • Create and identify trends and performance levels for metrics, based on established benchmarks using standard or customized approaches.
  • Identify data sources and approaches to be used in simple and complex queries.
  • Lead and collaborate with sourcing team and analytic team to support cross-functional analyses of requirements and impact to applications and / or business processes.
  • Put results into context and call out items of significance.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify solutions.
  • Demonstrate ownership of data collection, analysis and reporting processes and engage in ongoing process improvement activities.
  • Provide detail support for weekly and monthly management and team meetings for finance and pharmacy related drug analysis.
  • Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and / or understand current business processes and user requirements and translates them into user stories.
  • Implement requirements traceability from user stories to product features.
  • Participate in discovery workshops to aid in requirements discussion that meet business requirements.
  • Review application data to identify and triage discrepancies.
  • Partner with business owners and technical architects to set a strategic product direction and scope out project efforts.
  • Collaborate with the broader development team to ensure designs meet customer requirements and standards.
  • Identify strategic issues and raise questions to help teams explore and understand their wider business challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of data analysis experience in an analytical role required.
  • Experience in pharmacy supply chain or clinical data required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft office suite with advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience with MicroStrategy BI, SQL or other analytical platforms preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Understanding of quantitative/qualitative data assessment.
  • Detail and action oriented with the ability to think independently and self-motivate.
  • Ability to present, plan, organize, and manage projects across multiple tasks, working individually and as a member of a cross-functional team.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
