*Position Summary:* We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused *Desktop Support Specialist* with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and supporting users in a Windows 10/11 environment. This client-facing role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive service mindset. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively to resolve escalated issues, automate deskside processes using PowerShell, and ensure a seamless end-user experience.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals in a Windows 10/11 Intel-based environment. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely. * Utilize *basic PowerShell scripting* to automate and streamline deskside support tasks. * Configure and deploy systems according to company standards and security policies. * Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and procedures for internal knowledge sharing. * Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring user satisfaction and professionalism in all interactions. * Support AV setups and assist with printer troubleshooting, particularly in remote or field office environments. * Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues. * Participate in Windows 11 migration and other project-based initiatives as needed. *Required Qualifications:* * 2-3 years of experience in desktop or technical support roles. * Proficiency in supporting *Windows 10/11* operating systems and Intel-based hardware. * *Basic PowerShell scripting* experience for automation and support tasks. * Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Experience working in client-facing environments and handling sensitive or escalated issues with professionalism. * Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation best practices. *Preferred Skills:* * Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, or JAMF (a plus). * Exposure to enterprise environments and service-level agreement (SLA) management. * Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $26.00/hr.
