Our team is solving the world's toughest security challenges for customers with "can't fail" missions. The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Business Analyst Lead to work in our Baltimore, Maryland office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) program operate, maintain, modernize and transform its highly visible legacy system.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst Lead is responsible for gathering, managing, and prioritizing the collection, documentation, analysis, reporting, communication, and strategy of all system requirements, integrations and NGD CRM development work. The Business Analyst Lead's responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Documenting requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to provide clear guidance to development teams.

  • Analyzing gathered requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Supporting testing activities, reviewing test cases, and verifying that the implemented solution meets the desired outcomes.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements, addressing questions or concerns.

  • Identifying opportunities for system enhancements, analyzing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and proposing solutions to streamline workflows and increase productivity.

  • Evaluating and interpreting business needs to create solutions that align with organizational goals and facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Perform analysis of SLA/TPM/KPI metrics for reporting and delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and requires minimum 8-12 years of relevant prior experience

  • Ability to obtain Public Trust

  • Application Migration experience

  • Experience with HHS healthcare customers

  • Experience with SAFe/Agile as a business analyst

  • Experience managing a team

  • Experience leading meetings for requirements gathering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CMS or HHS

  • Understanding of Medicare and FFM business processes

  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification

  • Experience with HCD and UI/UX
